Since TAS UK introduced its conservation fund in 1994 it has donated over £10,000 to the following projects:

Generous Donation to Our Conservation Fund

Rosemary Low has consistently supported our conservation efforts through donations from the sale of her books which the Society retails. She also contributes various items, the sale of which helps to swell our conservation coffers. In the accompanying photograph she is seen offering one of her editor’s copies of Monograph of Amazon Parrots to the Treasurer. Luckily one of our members is a collector of first edition ornithological literature and he willingly paid £750 ( the price Rosemary suggested) to acquire this choice object to add to his collection. He was highly delighted with his purchase. Thank you very much Rosemary and our member for raising this substantial sum towards this year’s Conservation Fund. To date, since the fund’s inception in 1994, The Society has donated over £10000 to conservation projects.
